Svalbard
Pure Artic Nature
Juli 2026

In July 2026, I travelled to Svalbard with Phototours Norway, spending a week near Longyearbyen in search of Arctic wildlife. We enjoyed wonderful encounters with Arctic foxes, Svalbard reindeer and various bird species, surrounded by rugged, breathtaking landscapes.
The 24 hours of daylight allowed us to photograph at any time, while the ever-changing Arctic light constantly transformed the scenery. The endless days and nights were an unforgettable experience.
Our journey continued with a twelve-day expedition aboard the M/S Stockholm, navigating through pack ice and exploring remote locations on foot in search of wildlife and Arctic flora.
From the silence and soft light around Longyearbyen to the endless pack ice, Svalbard revealed a wild, pure and remarkably fragile world—filled with extraordinary encounters and moments I sought to capture through my camera.
